This girl is brave. So strong. The pain and suffering and constraints she battles all day, every day aren't tiny. It just seems too much for a seven year old. And there are no breaks. We can't just pause t1d for a move.
It's ugly. It's raw. And it's exhausting.
But I'm honored I get to hold her through it.
Prayers for continued patience and strength, for wisdom and endurance for Dustin and I. T1D ravages us. But I think we're doing ok.
Looking at this picture, I am so proud of who she's becoming. It's bold and strong, but also: fully committed to the magical, to the whimsical, to what's true and good and deep.
